What we sell

Personalized printed children’s books. Each book is made after the order for the child named in it, with their name and a character drawn from their photo; it is not a ready-made product on a shelf.

Because the book is made for one particular child, it does not suit another child and cannot be resold. That is the point the Refund & Replacement Policy rests on.

Pricing

The price shown on the site is the final price of the product and nothing is added to it.

In Egypt: shipping is calculated from the delivery address and shown as a separate line, and the total including delivery is shown to you before you pay.

In Saudi Arabia and the UAE: delivery is included in the product price, and there is no separate shipping fee.

Payment

In Egypt: you pay 25% of the total online to confirm the order, and the remainder in cash on delivery.

In Saudi Arabia and the UAE: you pay the full total online before production starts, and there is no cash on delivery.

The amount due now, and any amount remaining on delivery, are shown clearly before you confirm payment.

Card and wallet payments are made on our payment partner’s page. Your card details never pass through this site and are never stored by us.

When production starts

Production starts once the order and the required payment are confirmed. From that moment the order moves through preparation, printing and packaging, and you can follow its stage from the Orders page.

What you are responsible for

The child’s name as you type it is the name printed in the book, letter for letter. Check it before you confirm the order: a mistake in the name only shows after printing, and we print what you wrote.

The photo you upload is the photo the child’s character is built from. Choose a clear photo of the child alone, looking at the camera, with no other people in it and nothing covering the face.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the child’s name, the photo and the delivery details you enter.

Content we do not accept

By uploading the photo you confirm that you are the child’s parent or guardian, or that you are otherwise allowed to use it.

We may refuse any photo that is not a photo of a child, that contains other people without their permission, or that is unlawful or offensive. We may equally refuse any name or text that is unlawful or offensive.

If we refuse the content of your order we contact you so it can be replaced, and if that is not possible we cancel the order and refund what you paid.

Intellectual property

Story artwork, story texts and book designs belong to Batal Stories. The book you buy is for your own and your family’s personal use, not for reprinting, publishing or resale.

Privacy and refunds

How we handle your data and your child’s photo is set out in the Privacy Policy, and what can and cannot be refunded is set out in the Refund & Replacement Policy. Both pages form part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page, and the last-updated date at the top changes when we do. What applies to your order is the text published at the time you confirmed it.
